Arkansas State Scheme - Things To Watch

Here are some notes on things to watch for in Arkansas State's scheme. Keep in mind that the personnel grouping number is backs then tight ends. For example, "10 personnel" means 1 back, 0 tight ends.

• If arky state comes out in 10 personnel think trick/deep pass, 11 short pass, 12 run

• All their run out of 10/11 is zone, split zone, stretch, inside zone

• Drop back passes out of 11 are either screen or drop back. Their drop backs are all based off a dig route somewhere in the concept for the most part.

• Out of 12 they like to throw play action or max protect. They like verts, double post arrows, or swap boots. Zone run game still with different trap blocking techniques.

85% of the offense is 10/11 personnel and the above concepts. When they go 10 it’s either aggressive or bait to set up something aggressive later.
