Davon Mitchell had been planning to join the team in Norman yesterday but according to a source Mitchell did not make it in and as of this evening is not expected to join for bowl practices in San Antonio.

From OU's side it was never a certainty. Mitchell had told a few people he was coming but plans changed for reasons unknown.
