Christian Thatcher, the 2025 LB from Las Vegas, NV will be back in Norman for the SMU game this weekend.
DeMarco Murray's legend status in Las Vegas initially put the Sooners on Thatcher's radar, and the staff has done a great job establishing and building the relationship with the 4-star LB and his family.
Thatcher is someone I could see shutting down his recruitment before the first of the year and choosing OU, especially if the defensive product on the field shows marked improvement from the 2022 season.
