Defensive Line Recruiting Note

Despite some hope being floated by others, Daelyn Evans ended up sticking with Texas A&M. Our sources had indicated to us earlier this week that Evans was not in play for OU although the expectation was that he would end up at Texas.

Dominick McKinley is the other big high school target of the Sooners. As we've discussed in previous recent notes I believe OU is running behind Tennessee at this point and the McKinley's relationship with LSU seems to be on the mend according to multiple sources. OU will continue to push hard but the trend currently is decidedly away from OU.

Yes, there is still buzz about David Hicks entering the portal after A&M's bowl game. Beyond that nothing concrete has emerged.
