According to a source, Jeff Lebby has not been offered the job as of yet but that could be made soon. If an offer does come, Lebby is expected to take it.

According to a source, there's been a major change in the Mississippi State coaching search that could push them back to Lebby.
We're told that MSU's top target has signaled to them that he is not interested, and although there is a preference for someone with head coaching experience it may end up being Jeff Lebby who ultimately gets the nod.
There are a lot of factors at play here, and other candidates may emerge but the latest information we have is that Zac Selmon and MSU officials want to wrap this up quickly.
