Jeff Lebby Update 11/23

We've heard from multiple sources this morning that Jeff Lebby is not expected to take the Mississippi State head coaching job barring a major change in the conversations and search process from MSU.

We have heard there's another coach who is MSU's front-runner and we're working to confirm that.

Update

According to some well-placed sources, Lebby held an informal interview with Mississippi State officials on Wednesday. No offer was made, and according to multiple sources MSU will eventually offer the job to someone with previous heach coach experience.

The interview with Lebby was due diligence on MSU's part, but from what we've heard it was always very unlikely that an offer to Lebby would be made.
