Offensive Coordinator Division of Labor

This is going to be a fluid situation, to put it mildly. Our sources are still expecting the hire to come from within, and for Seth Littrell and Emmett Jones to be collaborating as Co-OC's.

Can we say for sure that's how it will break down? No, because as one source made very clear there are a lot of things in flux and there are several different ways the division of labor could assigned.

When Emmett Jones was hired, there were conversations between Venables and Jones that Jones would be fit into the OC role at some point in the future, but there weren't promises made about the timing of that move.

We also know that Joe Jon Finley remaining on staff was a bit of a surprise, and his presence creates another option for Venables as he decides who takes over for Jeff Lebby.

We'll keep an eye on this as it moves forward.
