Since my post yesterday about David Stone trending to Miami I have had several people ask what the Sooners can do to reverse the trend and secure Stone's commitment in 6 days.
The path forward based on the information I have is they need to convince certain members of his family to either change their mind or not interfere with what David wants to do. It's been documented that David tried to commit three different times to OU, but family objections stopped that in its tracks each time.
If OU is going to win out, they have to overcome this hurdle. NIL is part of this but both schools have lots of ammunition on that front. I believe this comes down to the family dynamic more than anything else.
We'll see how things play out.
