New Defensive Coordinator Zac Alley has met with the players at least once so far and I'm told first impressions were good. "He's definitely BV 2.0" as one person put it.
We've also been able to confirm that Venables has told people within the program he plans to continue calling the plays on defense. Alley will have input and will take on some of the game planning responsibilities.
