Team Notes 10/25

Team seems focused and intensity at practice has been high. The coaches have a high degree of respect for Kansas and their skill position players in particular and that's being felt by the players.

Offensive players and coaches believe they should have run for 300+ against UCF. Plays the offensive line had blocked didn't get taken advantage of and a few instances of one OL getting beat were the main difference.

There's optimism that the running game can improve dramatically as Lebby gets a feel for the plays and blocking schemes that work best with the personnel group we saw in the 4th quarter against UCF. We saw some of that with the split zone Y-insert play they ran repeatedly late in the game.

There was a lot of self-scouting done in the bye week and look for tendency breakers to be introduced against Kansas.
