I spoke with a source last night who confirmed that Brent Venables had a meeting with the offensive staff last week and instructed them to focus on pushing the ball down the field and avoid the horizontal pass game. As part of that, the staff emphasized to Dillon Gabriel that attacking downfield should be a priority in his progression.
Gentry Williams and Tyler Guyton are likely going to be held out against BYU barring a change.
